No one holds these truths closer than Trish Spencer-Fell. Like many in the business of purveying fine food, her culinary love began in her grandmother’s kitchen. It was there she discovered passion for providing delicious meals made with love, laughter and honest ingredients, fit for royalty. Preparing meals for four or four-hundred, the quality of passion remains the same.

She began her professional culinary career in 1999 catering to the bustling and demanding BC film industry. She quickly became a hot commodity in her field for both full production craft services and private meal preparation to the stars. Whether she found herself delivering food by helicopter to the top of a glacier or catering high end banquets for some of your favourite movie premieres, she has never forgotten where her passion comes from and that good, honest food can never be compromised.

During this time Trish’s family was growing and she decided to take the leap and use her years of diverse culinary experience to open Whisk Catering in 2014. Opting to begin a family owned business in Maple Ridge, helping her spend more time with her family and still continue in the field she loves.

Trish has cultivated an amazing team of equally passionate chefs and cooks who take pride in creating and delivering first class meals. She is especially proud of Whisk’s commitment to utilizing quality local ingredients from British Columbia, including fresh produce and herbs from Whisk’s own incredible garden.

The Whisk catering team currently supplies delicious food options to the local film and television productions in Maple Ridge, as well as caters to corporate parties, weddings, and office lunches. Large and elaborate, or small and intimate, the Whisk promise of quality is always the same.
